A wonderful place to escape and literally "stop and smell the roses". It is so peaceful and a great chance to explore. I had no idea that roses had sweet, fruity, smells! Very relaxing place to be. I deducted a start because not all of the roses have name plates so I wouldn't be able to know what which are, and the pond in the middle was a bit disheveled and not enough water for the fish. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and made sweet memories.
This is definitely a good time to visit. Roses are in full bloom. For those of you planning a photo shoot, the 4 to 5:30pm window is great this time of year.
I tend to visit this place in the morning, and am consistently awed by the beauty of a small garden ❤️. It's worth noting that this garden relies on volunteers for upkeep.
The rose garden at the Little Theater was so so amazing. Peak blooms are in May, which is absolutely stunning. It’s not usually very busy, making it a great place for a stroll at the end of the day.
One of my favorite hidden spots in Raleigh. Beautiful roses year round, cute picnic tables and just lovely vibes all around!
An absolutely beautiful garden. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but still a nice spot to hang around and see some pretty roses. There’s plenty of shade and some seating. Prefect for having a picnic, taking some pictures, or just sitting out and enjoying the weather. The amphitheater next door is interesting too.
It is a small rose garden but pretty well maintained, especially thinking that is a city garden not privately owned
We visited on the first week of October, and the roses were still blooming.
You need less than 30 minutes to visit this garden
A great spot to pass an hour or two. Very well maintained, apparently mostly by volunteers, and quite peaceful in general. Plenty of spots to set up a picnic and some benches to just hang out on and relax.
A tonne of rose varieties. Great spot for a picture backdrop. Tuck back away in a neighborhood. Street parking only. The pictures speak for themselves
